Emmanuel Labourier, PhD

Emmanuel is an R&D executive with 20+ years of research experience and 15+ years of product development experience in the life sciences, molecular diagnostics and clinical laboratory industries. He received his PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Montpellier in France and carried out postdoctoral research at the University of California in Berkeley. Between 2001 and 2014, Emmanuel held several scientific and management positions at Ambion and Asuragen in Austin, Texas, where he spearheaded the discovery and validation of novel microRNA biomarkers and launched multiple reagents and kits for research use, in vitro diagnostics devices and laboratory-developed tests. For the past five years, Emmanuel has provided scientific, strategic and operational consulting services to several startups and established molecular diagnostic companies and clinical laboratories. He has extensive experience with the design, development, validation, launch and commercial support of molecular tests. Emmanuel is an author or co-author of over 70 peer-reviewed publications and patent applications.

Julius has over 25 years of global HR and business experience. He has lead HR teams in the areas of learning & development, executive & talent development, organizational development, program design and implementation. He also has an extensive HRBP and recruiting background. Julius has experience in the following industries: information technology, financial services, publishing, media, wine and beverage.
Julius spent many years abroad leading merger & acquisition initiatives living and working in: UK, Hong Kong, Australia, Canada.
He has HR accreditations from Harvard Business School, Moscow School of Business, WORLDSVIEW Academy in Johannesburg and Cornell University. He has a B.A. in Industrial Psychology from Seton Hall University. Julius is a certified Master Trainer, Executive Coach and HR organizational strategist.
