Alidad Mireskandari, PhD, MBA Co-Founder

Alidad co-founded CogGen after 8 years in the Bio-Medical & Pharmaceutical Industry and a decade in Global Finance. In 2009, Mireskandari became President & CEO of JS Genetics, a start-up company, overseeing the introduction of 4 genetic tests to market by licensing 2 platform technologies from Yale University. Alidad led Quality and Regulatory Assurance activities and FDA interactions on behalf of company then directed the build up commercial infrastructure. He managed all R&D activities and built operational capabilities of commercial laboratory to include CLIA license certification and CAP accreditation. Alidad sold his company to PDI Inc. in March 2014 and has continued as an active consultant to the new company where he leads Business Development initiatives. Alidad has also worked as a consultant for pharmaceutical and medical device clients, leading cross-functional teams in designing complex R&D/Marketing/Supply Chain integration initiatives; product development; product life cycle management and project planning. Prior to his work in the bio medical field, Alidad traded life sciences portfolios for multi-national banks and hedge funds. He has extensive experience in M&A valuation, due diligence and technology transfer as well as expertise in building valuation models and developing revenue-forecasting models for life science companies. Alidad received his PhD in molecular biology from George Washington University and an MBA from University of Michigan.
Kyle Rusconi Co-Founder
President & Executive VP Business Development
Kyle co-founded CogGen after 17 years in global finance where he built specialized trading desks and managed proprietary strategies for multi-national financial institutions in New York, Tokyo, Hong Kong, and Sydney. Throughout his financial career he held roles including Global Head of Proprietary Trading, Executive Director, and Regional Head for North American proprietary trading operations. He served on critical Executive Management Committees helping shape strategy, investment allocation, and policy. Kyle has extensive experience in building organizations from the ground up while working with scientists, mathematicians and engineers across a wide-array of fields. After leaving his trading career, Kyle created and built successful projects in retail while being actively involved in technology, bio-medical, and other private equity ventures. Kyle graduated from Villanova University with a B.S. in Finance.
Head of Network Development
Julius has over 25 years of global HR and business experience. He has lead HR teams in the areas of learning & development, executive & talent development, organizational development, program design and implementation. He also has an extensive HRBP and recruiting background. Julius has experience in the following industries: information technology, financial services, publishing, media, wine and beverage.
Julius spent many years abroad leading merger & acquisition initiatives living and working in: UK, Hong Kong, Australia, Canada.
He has HR accreditations from Harvard Business School, Moscow School of Business, WORLDSVIEW Academy in Johannesburg and Cornell University. He has a B.A. in Industrial Psychology from Seton Hall University. Julius is a certified Master Trainer, Executive Coach and HR organizational strategist.
